I rarely wear dresses and sneakers together. I love seeing them on everyone else but usually like to add some height with wedges or sandals when I’m dressing down. On my recent trip to Philadelphia we did a TON of walking and sneakers really were my only option. Between a walking mural tour and exploring Fishtown, we walked about 7 miles that day. The best excuse to try out this trend! (PS I never travel without this Body Anti Chafe Balm).
This shirt dress from Old Navy is partially linen, so lightweight and prefect for Spring/Summer. Its also lined so not see-thru at all. I went up a size (bought a large) because I didn’t want it to pull by the buttons. Even though it fit and was a little big, it still pulled a little by my waist (you can see it in some of these pictures). But its really not too noticeable. I’ve already worn this dress a ton this month. And it comes in 3 colorways.
I had purchased a couple pairs of these heart-shaped sunglasses last summer on Amazon for super cheap. They’re a Saint Laurent dupe and because I’m not about to spend $420 on a trendy pair of sunglasses, I’ll stick to my amazon find. I own them in black + white and my friend Diana gave me these tortoise ones as a birthday gift. These feel much more elevated!
