Engagement Pictures in Palm Beach

Some of these pictures came up in my Facebook memories from 2 years ago today. And I realized I never shared anything on here from when we took our engagement pictures in Palm Beach.

I absolutely love taking pictures on Palm Beach, especially Worth Ave. So when it came time to take our engagement pictures 2 years ago (can’t believe its been that long), I know exactly where to go. Its a little further than our wedding photographer normally would travel for engagement pictures but I was so thankful she made the trip.

We had gone earlier in the week to scope out some photo spots, but once we met our photographer she just had the best eye for all the best places. We basically just walked down Worth Ave and she would have us stop and pose, dance, laugh, etc every once in a while.

I know most people like to dress like themselves and wear jeans for their engagement pictures. But I figured its probably the only time besides our wedding that we would take professional formal pictures. And jumped at the chance to dress to the nines.

Jon wore his J.Crew suit and I rented this Badgley Mischka gown from Rent the Runway. And I wore my favorite go-to Sam Edelman heels.

Our photographer also suggested kicking off our shoes and getting onto the actual beach. If we’re going to take our engagement pictures in Palm Beach, we might as well go to the beach.

Causal Photos

I bought these Stanton Street sweatshirts years ago when I worked at J.Crew. I originally just bought one for Jon for a Hanukkah gift and then secretly went back and ordered one for myself too. We had only been dating a few months so I kept mine hidden in my closet. Once we actually got engaged, and knew I wouldn’t scare him away, I told him about my sweatshirt.

We threw them on over our casual outfits for the last few pictures. And they ended up being some of my favorites.
