Hall of Breakfast

August 7, 2018

My favorite experience from our short time visiting Salt Lake City (besides our gorgeous hotel) was visiting the Hall of Breakfast! This was definitely not on our itinerary. I honestly didn’t even know it existed until I was watching the local Instagram stories in SLC. But how can you turn down an opportunity to visit an art exhibit with a breakfast theme?

The Hall of Breakfast is a similar idea to the Museum of Ice Cream but I actually enjoyed this experience a lot more. Even if ice cream is my favorite food! It was a lot less crowded, we didn’t have to wait on line to take pictures at each spot and no one rushed us out of any experience. (Yes, I might still be bitter about the sprinkle pool). And it didn’t hurt having my instagram husband with me this time.

Each room has a different theme with a sweet snack and fun breakfast themed activity.  You can play on a bacon slide, donut swings, vote for pancakes vs. waffles, and jump in the millennial pink ball pit. And you don’t have to ask me twice to throw some confetti!

The entire bee hive (pictured above) was made out of coffee beans! And that entire room smelled like coffee – yum!

…the things we do for the ‘gram.

What would you vote for? Pancakes or waffles?

Playing with (cereal) confetti was very obviously my favorite experience in the museum.  Its so fun to just let loose and play!

Easy to say when you don’t eat bacon!

According to their website, Hall of Breakfast should be in Salt Lake City through the end of September. And I don’t see any plans for their next location. If you’re lucky enough for this exhibit to visit your town next, I definitely recommend experiencing it for yourself.
