There is nothing better than celebrating special moments with the people you love. One of my closest friends from high school got married this year and a few months before the wedding, we spent a weekend in Miami for her bachelorette party.
Full disclaimer – I did not plan any of this bachelorette weekend. My friend Mandy did such an amazing job planning the perfect weekend for our bride-to-be Emily and I just had to share (with permission of course).
Miami Bachelorette Weekend
Everyone who attended this bachelorette weekend in Miami is actually from South Florida (we all went to high school together). So we had no need to spend our time being tourists. We just needed to enjoy some good food, quality time with our bride to be and some sunshine. So our Miami weekend might look a little different than some other Miami bachelorette weekends.
Miami Bachelorette Weekend Itinerary
Thursday
Everyone arrived at our AirBnB at some point Thursday night. Our goal of course was to get there as soon as we were able to check in but Miami traffic pushed us back a little. Once we got there we started decorating – we also had a grocery delivery order ready for us once we got to the house.
Because people had different arrival times and travel plans, Thursday was a night in and we made flatbreads at home for dinner.
We played a few games and mostly caught up as some of us hadn’t seen each other since high school.
Friday
We woke up to donuts from The Salty Donut – highly recommend if you’re in Miami!
And then we spent the day enjoying the beautiful backyard of the house we rented. We had drinks and snacks out by the pool and a few crafts and activities.
I helped put together this epic charcuterie board, salami roses and all!
There were tie dye kits and sarongs for us to wear the next day. And mosaic coaster making supplies. And beads for bracelet making.

Later that afternoon we got ready for our night out and had a surprise zoom happy hour with some friends who weren’t able to travel and join in person. We all brought or shared things that reminded us of the bride. I brought a few pictures from high school.
Friday night we drove across Miami for dinner at Vista. It wasn’t close to where we were staying but the food and the vibes were worth the trip. I ordered the lamb cavatelli and it might be one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Oh and the fries were insane! Afterwards we went upstairs and danced to some live music. We were the only ones dancing besides a very fun lady who left her date to join us for a few minutes.

Saturday
Saturday morning started with picnic brunch on the beach by It’s Always Picnic Time. (Check them out on Instagram). They had everything set up, including the food. My friend Mandy (maid of honor who planned the whole weekend) planned the menu with them ahead of time.
And it was such a fun surprise for our bride who thought we were just having a beach day.
We then found a spot on the beach and just relaxed.
After a full day in the sun, we had a night in at our rental house. For dinner, we planned to have a 3 course fondue dinner (another fun surprise for our bride). But after our cheese fondue appetizer course, we decided to skip the main meal and went straight to dessert, dipping marshmallows and fruit in chocolate fondue.
We also planned a movie and popcorn night. My friend brought a projector and laptop so we could be outside in that amazing backyard.

Sunday
We cleaned up and packed up and eventually headed to brunch at Little Hen. If you’re looking for a instagram worthy brunch spot in Miami – this is it! Just make sure to make reservations.
Activities
Our bride grew up going to and then working at a sleep away camp and loves a good activity. So during our time at the house on Saturday we had a day full of activities you would expect to do at sleep away camp.
We tie dyed some sarongs to wear to the beach the next time. There was bracelet making and mosaic coasters. We also facetimed with some of her camp friends who led us in water folk dancing in the pool.
Decorations
The bachelorette decoration colors were pink, white and gold. I helped put together the balloon garland – draped over the back of the couch the first night. And the brought outside by the pool for the day we were outside. Such a great detail and photo backdrop.
