Our experience
It was a very rainy South Florida Sunday with a tropical storm close by. We were looking for something fun to do as a family indoors so we took a trip to the South Florida Science Center.
The museum is basically split in half. On the left was the aquarium, our favorite part! And on the other side is basically everything else. We found Nemo (!) and little sharks and baby alligators. Aaron was mesmerized by all the fish tanks.
The bodies exhibit is on display until April. I remember seeing this exhibit when it first started traveling years ago. I remember it being super controversial at the time. And they now include information about COVID-19.
So much of the science center is educational and interactive. We will definitely be going back as Aaron gets older! There are so many different opportunities for fun, hands on learning. I will definitely say there is something for everyone. Our 8 month old loved seeing the fishies, we saw kids having a great time with the activities, and we had a blast (kids at heart).
