Our big boy turned 10 months old today! And it’s really hitting me how close we’re getting to his first birthday.
This past month Aaron celebrated his first Hanukkah. He unwrapped some fun toys from friends and family and now has a much needed playpen from his mom and dad. He has so much fun playing with all of his new toys but I’m pretty sure his favorite part of Hanukkah was the wrapping paper. His mommy’s favorite part of Hanukkah was the matching pajamas!
Aaron can now pull himself up holding onto the side of his crib, his playpen, and our hands. He loves to stand and to dance! There’s also been a few times where he lets go and stands on his own for a couple seconds.
He loves to be out and about! He is the friendliest little guy, waving at everyone. He’s also pretty nosey and loves to people watch.
We now have actual conversations. He only responds with “no” (in English or German) but he is actually answering questions with the appropriate answer. And he knows to wave when you tell him to say hello, goodbye, or wave. This morning we were showing him the waves at the beach and he started waving his hands. He also claps when you tell him to clap or say good job. He will clap after every bite of baby food he eats. If only we all celebrated ourselves for every little accomplishment!
