The Umbrella Sky Project is a temporary art exhibit visiting the Giralda Plaza in Coral Gables (Miami), FL. The colorful umbrellas cover a pedestrian street in a lively area surrounded by shops and restaurants. We visited on a busy and rainy Saturday afternoon. Thank goodness there are literally hundreds of umbrellas!
I do suggest getting there early if you can because this place can get busy. But make sure to visit ASAP as the umbrella sky project will only be in Coral Gables til September 16th!
Top / Skirt / Shoes / Bag (only $15!)
I was just in Florida a couple months ago! I wish I would’ve know about this. It looks amazing!
It really is so beautiful! Maybe it will travel to you next!
This is so cool, the next time I’m in Miami I’ll have to check it out!
Thanks for the reminder, need to visit before it ends.
Yes! Hope you love it!
What a fun place to visit and you look so marvelous!!
XOXO

Oh you are just so sweet! Thanks!
I’ve been seeing pictures of this on Instagram but had no idea where it was! These pics are gorgeous. (And I LOVE your bag.)
Love your outfit and sunnies 🙂 PS: I haven’t been able to dedicate a photoshoot here but I need to soon (before the baby comes lol).
You better get over there ASAP! That cutie will be here SO SOON!
It such a cool project! I’ve seen this in other places like Croatia
This place is on my to do list! I hope I can get there before the 16th!! Love your pictures 🙂
Wow! That’s is really beautiful! It’s a bit hard to tell in the photos but does the light shining through leave colored shadows?
I’m a Miami based blogger too and loved visiting the Umbrella Sky project in Coral Gables. My mom was visiting from Albania and my kids were still in summer vacation. We really enjoyed walking around, taking pictures and eating at the local restaurant. I’ve seen pictures from Portugal and other areas where they’ve hosted a similar project and it is gorgeous. I’m thankful we had it here in Miami:))). Your pictures are lovely!
We did this in my town in Florida (Pensacola) recently. I thought it was so cool!
