I learned the hard way to not wear wedges to SunFest. So please learn from my mistakes and read below about what to wear to SunFest.
Matching Set |Bucket Hat | Baseball Hat
Madewell V-Neck Tank | J.Crew Denim Shorts
Converse Chuck Taylor Sneakers | Belt Bag
Supergoop! Sunscreen | Beach Towel | Umbrella | Backup Charger
Some things to keep in mind – SunFest is in Florida in April/May. You will be outside in the sun and it will be HOT.
Yes, SunFest is a music festival, but it is definitely not Cochella. I’ll never get over how many pairs of gladiator sandals girls were buying before SunFest a few years ago. And once I actually got there, I realized just how silly they would look.
A simple pair of jean shorts and a tank (the v-neck ones from Madewell are my favorite) or cropped top (if you’re into that) are perfect.
I’d normally opt for a romper, but for the sake of porta potties, 2 piece sets are a lot more practical.
Also remember – bags should not be larger than 12x12x6. And I love bringing a little backpack to keep my hands free for drinks (and dancing).
Other things to bring:
Suncreen – and don’t forget to reapply.
You can bring a blanket, towel, or chairs. We usually stand, but I feel like of your options, a big beach towel is the easiest to carry and wash after.
Umbrella (or rain jacket) – you’re allowed to bring umbrellas into the event, but they do state that you will be asked to put it down in concert areas to not block others’ view of the stage.
Backup Phone Charger – they do have some charging stations, but I like to have my phone with me. I don’t go anywhere without this backup charger. It definitely comes in handy when I’m using my phone to take pictures/videos all day. You don’t want to run out of battery and not be able to capture the fun moments, find your friends, or your ride. Just make sure your backup battery is fully charged before you go!
